A mother bobcat suns herself on a rock when her daughter comes down to see if she's left anything cached in the snow. The little boy kit comes down shortly after to join them. Amazingly intimate moments with this wild bobcat family at their den. A rare treat indeed.
A big bull moose (note the fracture/hole in his right antler paddle from another fight, and also a broken tine) browses quietly until another bull is seen nearby. The two start their head wag approach, and after sizing each other up, decide to fight.
This starts out with a lesser bull who had claimed a dominant bull's area and rut pit. The cows were going crazy for the pit (not the bull) and then the Big Boy comes back onto the scene. The lesser bull is forced to leave. Long video but worth the watch.
